The Martin MAC Aura XIP is a premium moving head wash light and the first fixture in its class rated for outdoor use. Its light engine pairs seven 60W RGBW beam LEDs with twelve individually controllable RGBW aura filaments, producing 6,000 lumens of fixture output through a 6.3–50.4° zoom with the cleanest wash field in its category. RGBW color mixing covers rich saturates through soft pastels, with calibrated CTC from 1,000–12,850 K and green–magenta tint control, plus 200+ built-in FX macros and full pixel control across beam and aura.
Control runs over DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN and Martin P3 with automatic protocol detection, in modes from 14 to 93 channels. The P3 integration allows video mapping onto the beam, the aura ring, or both, with smooth crossfading between DMX and video sources. The IP54-rated housing shrugs off rain, snow, sand and ice, yet the fixture weighs just 8.95 kg — light enough for fast truss rigging and dense festival plots — and its ultra-quiet cooling and flicker-free LED refresh make it equally at home in theater and broadcast environments.
