The Chauvet Professional COLORado PXL Bar 16 is a one-meter motorized tilting batten built around 16 individually controllable 45W RGBW LEDs. A motorized two-section zoom runs from a tight 5.8° beam out to 47.9°, and the head tilts through a selectable 60°, 180°, or 200° range — turning a static wash bar into a moving effects fixture. Output reaches 8,959 lumens at wide zoom and 27,415 lux at 5 m when punched in narrow, with a 6122 K calibrated white, electronic dimming across four curves, and a 0–20 Hz strobe. The entire fixture is IP65 rated, including power and data connections, with a pressure-equalizing GORE valve for temporary outdoor and wet-weather use.
Control options cover DMX with RDM, Art-Net, sACN, and Kling-Net, so the bar drops straight into pixel-mapped rigs from a console or media server. Every LED is addressable, with virtual gobos and movement macros offering separate foreground and background color control for complex looks without eating channel count. Selectable PWM up to 15 kHz keeps it flicker-free on camera. Rigging is handled by slotted Omega brackets for fast truss mounting, and the housings are designed for smooth edge-to-edge alignment when building continuous walls or lines of light.
