How much weight can the staging support?

Do you build fashion show runways?
Yes — runways and catwalks are one of our core staging builds, delivered with the surface finish and safety rating that production insurance asks about. Staging comes from the same production team that has delivered AV for fashion events with Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier, so runway builds are planned together with lighting positions, camera platforms, and front-row sightlines rather than as an isolated deck order. Is delivery and installation included in the staging rental?
Yes — staging is quoted as a complete build: delivery from our Brooklyn warehouse, on-site assembly and leveling, skirting, stairs, and rails, and strike when the event ends. Our crew handles freight elevators, tight Manhattan load-ins, and overnight builds as standard practice. We deliver and install across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester, and Connecticut.
Can you install staging outdoors or on uneven floors?
Yes — Steeldeck legs adjust so decks are leveled on-site, whether that’s a raked warehouse floor in Bushwick, a courtyard, or a rooftop. For outdoor and complex builds we start with a site visit to check ground conditions, access, and what the deck needs to carry, then plan the build and load-in around it. Wind, weather cover, and power for whatever sits on the stage get planned at the same time, since our staging usually ships alongside sound, video, and lighting.
Do you provide insurance and load documentation for venues?
Load documentation, yes — if your venue or insurer needs the paperwork on what the platforms are rated to carry, we supply it with the quote. If your venue also requires insurance paperwork, tell us their requirements when you request the quote and we’ll make sure everything is sorted before the trucks arrive.
Can I rent just a DJ table or a podium without a full stage?
Yes — small orders are welcome. Steeldeck DJ tables rent for $95–$130/day (8′ × 2′ at 36″ height fits a full four-deck setup; the 6′ × 2′ work table stands at 38″), and silver truss podiums for keynotes and press conferences rent for $60/day, all delivered and set up.
