Its cardioid operation mode (achieved within a single cabinet via front 15-inch and rear 10-inch driver configuration) reduces low-frequency energy behind the subwoofer array by up to 20 dB — critical for minimizing bass buildup on stages and reducing complaints from neighboring venues.
