Description
The ACME TORNADO is a five-head moving LED beam bar built around 5 x 120W RGBL engines, backed by an outer circle of 120 x 0.5W RGB pixel LEDs — 24 per head, each individually controllable. Every head pans and tilts independently (59° pan, 221° tilt, 16-bit resolution with automatic position correction), delivering 13,000 lumens of sharp, saturated output through a fast linear zoom spanning a 3°–30° beam angle (4°–35° field). RGBL additive mixing with linear CTO correction from 2,500K to 8,000K covers everything from deep saturates to calibrated whites, with color macros, variable-speed strobe, and smooth 0–100% dimming across four selectable curves.
Control runs over DMX512, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN with five DMX modes from 41 to 170 channels, managed via an LCD display with four-touch-button panel; firmware updates load over the DMX link or a USB stick. The fixture is fully IP66 rated with waterproof power in/out, 3-pin or 5-pin waterproof XLR, and RJ45 data connections, and it mounts horizontally or vertically. At 1,000mm wide, 192mm deep, and 30 kg (66.2 lbs), it draws 935W from 100–240V mains and carries CE, UKCA, and cETLus approvals — rain or shine, indoors or out.
